We are happy to hear of your interest in Kansas State University as you pursue your studies in oboe! K-State offers a program with abundant resources to help students reach their goals in music.
Oboe students participate in weekly lessons, where they learn repertoire, etudes, excerpts, and more. Camaraderie is built among the studio in group technique classes and studio master classes. Oboe students participate in weekly reed making classes, offering each student the support they need to become independent and effective reed makers. For students interested in studying oboe at K-State, come in for a complementary "prospective student" lesson and join us for studio class. Come to a reed making or technique class. Find out why it's great to be a Wildcat Oboe! For questions, or to set up a lesson with the professor, contact Dr. Alyssa Morris via email at [email protected].
